EXTENSIVE TECHNOLOGICAL EXPERTISE AND A MODERN PRODUCTION PLANT ENSURE HIGH QUALITY

Modern equipment and technology ensure the high quality of products. Vauhti’s glide waxes and grip waxes are produced in an automatic process, where each wax has its own optimised production parameters. Automation monitors the production processes of each product as well as the melt temperatures at a gram-specific and degree-specific accuracy. The actual melting is handled by an automatic production robot. The process ensures that the products of each production batch are identical, and that they have been produced and cast at the exact same temperature.

Vauhti’s liquid products are also produced using the same accuracy. The products are produced in completely closed, digitally controlled production reactors, from where they are transferred to an automatic bottling line.

Our product development team have a passion to achieve complete knowledge and understanding of that thin layer between the ski and the snow, where the ski’s performance is optimised in all possible weather conditions. The surface of materials is typically produced of polymers, which features can be managed and customised in a diverse manner for multiple uses. The performance of surface materials is often critical in terms of products’ competitivity and their physical and environmental safety. Vauhti Speed Oy carries out continuous research cooperation with the University of Eastern Finland, where products can be tested in accurate laboratory conditions and thus, minimally small ensembles that are significant in terms of functionality can be discovered.
