With Vauhti’s grip waxes you can wax successfully in all weather conditions. Our range of grip waxes includes traditional grip waxes and klisters, as well as easy-to-use liquid grip waxes.
Grip waxing step by step
The grip area should be well cleaned with a wax cleaner.
The marked grip area is roughened with sandpaper with a grit of about 100.
Under all grip waxes it is recommended to use a base wax, the easiest way is to use a liquid base wax, KS base or GS Base. The application of the base coat is easy to do with the nozzle in the bottle.
Then, when the base wax has dried well, the desired wax is added. For coarse, wet or icy snow, we recommend the use of PURE Race or KS klisters. For dry, fine-grained snow, use grip wax, GS, GT or liquid waxes. If conventional grip waxes are used, they should be applied in thin layers, smoothing each layer well.
