The premise of Vauhti’s operations is respect for people and nature. No one can ignore climate change or environmental concerns any longer. Our goal is to promote sustainability by developing environmentally friendly products. We are a company focused on winter sports and we want to give future generations an equal opportunity to enjoy these activities.
The majority of the raw materials used in our products come from natural resources. We did not want to focus only on the raw materials of our waxes and therefore we gave ourselves the ambitious goal that the packaging materials of the 360° series will also come from natural resources. We managed to achieve more than 90% composition on the final product from natural based materials.
360°-bottles are made of bioplastic instead of petroleum-based plastics. Sugarcane-based plastic is used in the bottles. Ingredients to the waxes and maintenance products come from natural resources. We use rice, corn and sugarcane based raw materials and our solvent is bio-ethanol. Solid paraffins are packed in recycled cardboard boxes and kits in linen bags.
