Oy Patrol trading Ab is a Finnish manufacturer of ski waxes and accessories. Vauhti is one of the world’s oldest manufacturers of ski waxes, with roots dating back to the first half of the 1900s.
Vauhti aims to be the world leader in the ski wax technology industry. We produce more than 500 000 units of wax per year in one of the world’s most modern ski wax production facilities in Tohmajärvi, Finland. Our business is based on ski wax technology, wax-related accessories and services, without forgetting sustainability and environmental factors in product development.
Vauhti aims to be the market leader among brands focused purely on ski waxes. Vauhti’s products currently have more than 1,000 distribution sites in 24 different countries. The company is the domestic market leader in Finland and has a significant market position in several markets around the world.
OY PATROL TRADING AB – COMPANY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT 2026-2028
The aim of the project is to expand Patrol Trading Ltd. / Vauhti from a ski wax specialist into an internationally significant developer and manufacturer of advanced coating technologies. The project includes a new strategy, extensive market and competitor analysis, product development of innovative fluorine-free and carbon-neutral raw material-based coatings, and investments in new production equipment. The result will be new OEM agreements, new product series, production growth, new patents, and significant revenue growth by 2030.
