The cross-country skier’s all-purpose grip wax for mild temperatures. Easy to spread and highly wear-resistant, this grip wax works over a very wide range of conditions. If the trail is hard and the snow is a few days old, a good application range is -1° down to -12 degrees.
One of the raw materials used in the tar grip waxes is pine tar made from Finnish pine. Tar gives the wax not only a pleasant smell, but also a wide range of action and easier waxing properties. Tar grip waxes are particularly suitable for casual skiers, although their properties are also good enough for more demanding ski racers.
